Rick Puttick has been a respected figure in the hockey community for over 40 years, dedicating his career to developing elite-level players and building successful teams. Known for his leadership, technical knowledge, and commitment to player advancement, Puttick has left a lasting mark on every program he has been a part of.

Over the course of his career, Puttick has coached at some of the highest levels of elite hockey. He has won the prestigious Mac’s Midget (Circle K) International Tournament, consistently preparing players to compete against top-tier competition from across North America and beyond. His ability to teach the game, instill discipline, and inspire athletes has made him one of the most respected coaches in the region.

Puttick’s excellence behind the bench has been recognized with numerous accolades, including being named Coach of the Year in the Alberta Major Midget Hockey League (AMMHL). Beyond awards, his greatest legacy is the countless players he has guided to higher levels of hockey, from junior and collegiate programs to professional opportunities.
